In-person training doesn't have to live outside the LMS

A webinar or in-person workshop usually gets organized separately from formal courses — a calendar invite here, a sign-up sheet there, no connection to the rest of an employee's training record. Events and webinars sit in the same calendar as courses instead, so training stays one picture, not two disconnected systems.

Seats and attendance, handled automatically

Sign-ups can be capped by the number of available seats, and after the event the system builds an attendance report on its own — who registered versus who actually showed up, without a manual headcount at the door. That report feeds the same reports as the rest of training data.
