Manually generating and emailing a certificate after every course completion doesn't scale past a handful of employees. A certificate template is set up once — company branding, wording, the data fields that get filled in — and after that, completing a course or passing a test issues it automatically.

Verifiable, not just decorative

Each certificate carries a public verification link, so a certificate an employee shares externally — with a client, a regulator, a future employer — can be confirmed as genuine without contacting the company directly. That distinguishes a certificate from a cosmetic PDF: it's a checkable credential, tied to the specific course and completion date.
